Tanboocel and Zhongfu Shenying were named as new entrants to a Chinese fibre-brand library at a Shanghai event on 17 October, according to an event report published on 20 October. The additions brought the library to 15 brands.
Brand recognition and material development
The report describes a library built around a fibre-brand evaluation framework. Its inclusion of Tanboocel is a brand-development announcement, rather than a product-level environmental certification.
Huafon’s FREEMOUNT participated separately with a presentation on its material portfolio and a fashion show connecting fibres with clothing design. The event report discusses material innovation, carbon-footprint management and the group’s 2050 carbon-neutrality goal; the goal is a corporate commitment, not an achieved result.
Keep product claims specific
Huafon’s own August exhibition report identifies bio-based and recycled materials among its development routes. That background does not mean every FREEMOUNT product is fully bio-based or that all garments shown share the same composition.
For downstream buyers, fibre identity, product-specific composition and supporting documentation remain necessary alongside brand recognition.
